SECOND DISCIPLINE / EDITING

THE FILM,
assembled.

I also edited the feature documentary, shaping material from more than five clubs, multiple age groups, interviews, training grounds, neighbourhood streets, and day-and-night match coverage into one sustained story. The editorial role connected the separate clubs and locations while preserving the people and communities around the game.

PROJECT DETAILS

Inside the work.

01

One feature across many worlds

I worked as cinematographer and editor across more than five clubs, filming youth teams, interviews, and locations by day and night. The challenge was shaping those different worlds into one feature.

02

Getting close without losing the world around the game

Low street-level views, close pitch-side frames, physical details, and wider crowd scenes balance individual experience with the collective life around each club.

03

Daylight, interiors, and nighttime football

Strong backlight, shaded faces, reflective interiors, and an amber night pitch remain visibly distinct. The changing atmosphere becomes part of the film rather than something to neutralize.

04

Cinematography and editing

I also edited the documentary, bringing multiple clubs, age groups, interviews, and locations into a single feature-length structure.
